The 2015 Audi Q5 Hybrid is expected to have a new design and style different from the previous version. The release date of the vehicle is not out yet, however, it will supposedly be unveiled by the end of 2014 or in early 2015. According to sources, this SUV car will have a premiere at one of the top auto show events during the 2014.
We do expect to see slight improvements on the fuel economy and other segments but hybrid powertrain should offer features quite attractive to many. There will be changes in both the exterior and interior of the vehicle and here are some of the features that could possibly be seen in the new Q5.
To start with, the 2015 Audi Q5 Hybrid will have the architecture with lightweight metals such as aluminum and high strength steel. This change can increase the vehicle’s fuel economy as well as performance, as weight loss increases mileage and power to weight ratio. From the exterior, this vehicle will have more chrome details and an improved grill, when compared to the previous model. The headlights will be designed in such way that they would look sophisticated and modern. The wheels will be available in three different dimensions – 18, 19 and 20 inches further improving the road presence of this car.

The price of the 2015 Audi Q5 Hybrid has not been confirmed yet; however, compared to its previous model, this brand new German beast is expected to be slightly expensive. MPG Of 2015 Audi Q5 Hybrid
The new Audi Q5 has a hybrid powertrain variant under the hood. It consists of 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4 cylinder engine plus electric motor and total power of the system is rated to 250 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. The fuel consumption of this hybrid version is better than other models and gives 24 mpg in city drive condition and 30 mpg on highway. The engine will be paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission that also works in manual shift mode. For the models releasing in the American market, there will be six-speed automatic transmission instead of eight and it will be interesting to see how this will affect the fuel economy.
Car lovers are already waiting for the vehicle to be out in the market, for its variant features. Audi being one of the most desired car brands in the market, this SUV model from the company will indeed rule the roads, post its launch. Competition is quite strong but still it is possible for Q5 to get a decent piece of this market.
